When relationships don’t work out and couples separate, children are sometimes left caught in the middle. However, parents can work together and put the child’s needs first and ensure that the child has a full and healthy relationship with both parents. 
In Trinidad and Tobago there's not as much discussion about the parental rights of fathers and many men may be unaware of the parental rights they possess. 
Matters like these are difficult, the purpose of this post is to provide some insight so that persons involved can move forward with their lives. If you believe that you are not the father of a child these are some steps that you can take:
