Mrs Peggy Francis-Pierre started her legal career in 2011 after working in the field of Education for over twenty years. She practiced privately for one year before joining the then newly formed Litigation Unit in the Registrar General’s Department at the Ministry of Legal Affairs (MLA) now the Ministry of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs (MAGLA).

She represented the Registrar General in matters before the High Court during her first eight years at the Registrar General’s Department. In her last two years at the Department, she was attached to the Land Registry where among other things she reviewed documents submitted therein with respect to Registered Title and reviewed and certified documents requested from the Land Registry. Mrs Francis-Pierre was one of the Legal Officers trained and assigned to assist with the implementation and execution of the recently launched Property Registration System (PBRS) at the Land Registry.

In 2015, Mrs Francis-Pierre attained a Master of Laws with Distinction in Legal Practice Management from Staffordshire University. In her dissertation she critically assessed the quality of client care practices in legal management in Trinidad and Tobago. Mrs Francis-Pierre’s desire to deliver excellent client care and her commitment to meet the legal needs of her clients are prime movers in her legal practice which includes Land Law, Family Law, Employment Law, Will and Probate Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Mrs Francis-Pierre’s strong faith in God, her passion for gardening inclusive of creating and enjoying beautiful natural spaces provide the necessary equipoise in her life.
