ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION (ADR)
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is a method of settling disputes without litigation (that is, without going to court). Settling disputes at an early stage can often help to reduce legal and commercial costs, it can allow for a shorter time period to resolve the dispute and it allows for greater flexibility in crafting a solution. As far as possible, we help our clients avoid litigation by encouraging parties to take reasonable steps to resolve their disputes amicably.
Types of ADR include:
- Mediation
- Conciliation
- Arbitration
- Adjudication
